Document Destruction

Today businesses need viable, green alternatives to help them reduce Midway in SBD Magazinetheir environmental impact and contribute to the greening of our planet.

Midway’s Document Destruction Division provides an easy, convenient and cost-effective way for businesses to handle their paper recycling while also complying with federal privacy laws such as FACTA, HIPAA and Gramm-Leach-Bliley.

Midway Document Destruction benefits the environment by:

  • Keeping paper and cardboard waste out of landfills
  • Saving trees by recycling paper and cardboard waste and reusing it
  • Increasing fuel efficiency for our trucks when document pick-ups are coordinated with scheduled relocation projects – when one of our 200 vehicles goes out for a move, it comes back full of paper, not empty.

Our state-of-the-art Document Destruction facility offers a wide range of services, including Certificates of Destruction, online viewing access, e-waste removal, and Security Thread, our own proprietary shredding method that surpasses current industry standards.   We also offer a variety of bin sizes and pick-up options to suit your needs.

SAVING the environment.
DESTROYING disability barriers.

Midway believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to have a rewarding and meaningful career and to do real work for real pay.  In cooperation with the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities, Midway is working to hire and train people with disabilities through our Document Destruction Division.

We’ve partnered with non-profit organizations that provide services to the disability community to identify individuals who are good candidates for jobs and training, and we also donate a percentage of recycling proceeds back to these organizations.
