Who is Midway
Midway Moving and Storage is Chicago’s #1 commercial and residential relocation and storage company. Since our founding in 1987, Midway’s growth rate has outpaced every other company in our industry. Midway is setting new standards for quality and excellence in service. Our continued growth has made us the most recommended moving company in the state and in April 2004 we moved into our new, state-of-the-art facility to handle our projected needs for the new millennium.
Midway Moving and Storage, Inc. recruits its workforce from local neighborhoods in Chicago. We employ a culturally diverse labor force and many of our first employees are still with us. Our extensive internal training program enables us to provide a consistent level of quality and ensures that we put professionals on each and every job.
Midway Moving maintains a wide range of clients from every economic class. Our crews have assisted Chicago Housing Authority residents who are coping with bursting water pipes in the middle of the night. Our crews have also moved residents of Chicagoland’s finest homes and mansions. Midway not only wants each customer to use our services again, but also to feel comfortable recommending us to their friends and family. We enjoy a long list of repeat clients as a result of the quality of service we provide. Many of our clients were students when they first used our services, and they continue to call on us to provide services for their growing families and businesses.
Midway has been trusted to handle large-scale moving projects with the Chicago Board of Elections, Chicago Housing Authority and Chicago Public Schools, and is the Official Mover of the Chicago Cows on Parade program and the Official Mover of the Chicago Bulls.
Midway is committed to the communities we serve. True to our mission, we return a percentage of every move to local charities that are committed to improving the quality of life for people in the Chicago area. Midway is actively involved in dozens of charitable organizations, including Little City Foundation, Windows of Opportunity, Mayor Daley’s Kidstart Program, Jesse White Tumblers, Glass Slipper Project, AIDS Foundation, Chicago Bulls Charities, March of Dimes and Leukemia Research Foundation.
